Ceramic fiber heater technology offers a way to achieve some of the highest level of heat transfer with a low thermal mass. This heater is manufactured with the heating elements imbedded in high temperature ceramic fiber insulation. Temperature of 2200 degrees F.(1204 degrees C) may be attained with a watt density from 5 to 30 w/sq. in. The ceramic fiber heater was designed for radiant heat transfer only, this heater is ideal for high temperature ovens, crucible, retort, and radiant heat applications. The stock ceramic fiber heater is manufactured in cylindrical and flat panel models. Custom-made panels are available in other configurations.
