Industrial Cartridge Heaters

Industrial Cartridge Heaters are a round heater of a specified diameter and length. Diameters can range from 1/8 inch to over 1 inch. Sheath material is usually stainless. In high temperature and less than desirable condition exotic materials may be used for the sheath material. Sheath temperatures of 1400 degrees F.(760 degrees C.) with watt densities of 400 watts / sq. in. can be obtained in processes utilizing correctly designed industrial cartridge heaters. Many different voltage terminations are available from fiber glass insulated lead wire to armored cable. The versatility of industrial cartridge heaters allows many applications, from high temperature branding of wood materials to plastic sealing machines:
