Cable or Coil heaters are composed of stainless steel or incoloy for the sheath material and have mineral insulation for the high temperature insulation between the heater core and the sheath. The watt density of this cable heaters ranges up to 30 W/sq. in, with sheath temperatures reaching 1200 degree F. This heater versatility allows it to be cold formed into almost any configuration within reason. Coil or Cable heaters may be configured or wound in such a configuration for air or gas heating. The same heater in another configuration could be used to heat a solid object. To compliment this heater, an internal thermal couple may be ordered on custom units.
